After 3 successful Youth Camps, the Muslim Professionals Forum (MPF) is glad to announce MPF Youth Camp 2010, to be held from Friday 30th July - Sunday 1st August at Kem Bina Semangat, Ampang Pecah, Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor.

Cost:
Minimum contribution of RM200 per participant. Inclusive of Lodging, Food, Transport & Materials.

Day 1. Knowing & Loving Allah (Aqidah)
Day 2. Rasulullah (peace be upon him): An Inspirational Example
Day 3. I, Islam & The Contemporary World
Objectives:
1.To encourage self introspection of youth issues today

3. To provide direction for youth today
4. To inspire youth to use their energy & creativity in a positive way

Main Speaker: Shaykh Suhaib Webb from USA
Shaykh Suhaib Webb is a contemporary American Muslim activist and speaker born in 1972 and raised in Oklahoma, USA. After converting to Islam, he left his career as a DJ and studied at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Education. He studied privately under a Senegalese Shaykh, learning enough Islam and Arabic to become a community leader in Oklahoma City, where he was hired as Imam at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City.
In 2004, he departed with his Malaysian wife and two children to Cairo, where he currently studies at Al-Azhar University in the College of Shari`ah. Additionally, he works with the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Sheikh Ali Goma’a, where he is in charge of the English translation Department at Dar al-Ifta al-Masriyah and is currently training as a Mufti.
Suhaib was in Malaysia last year as part of the “Knowledge & Arts Tour ’09” organized by the Young Muslims Project. Whilst in Malaysia, he delivered talks, participated in dialogues & forums and appeared on the NTV7 Breakfast Show.
